Izanami 'Izzie' Nishimuraya is just your normal Asian-American college student majoring in computer science with minors in dance and business and who at one time attempted to make ends meet by dancing. At the local gentleman's club. These days, she's the owner of a sweet internet cafe called Cyberscenes and Coffee Beans.
Life isn't always easy though. Met the first man of her dreams in a friend she'd known online for a few years. They went through several rough patches in dealing with her empathy. Her boyfriend, Marcus, was turned vampire, a choice made after a HF member tried to run them down in a car because of who their friends where and left him paralyzed from the neck down. That decision came in hopes that it would help heal him when other methods did not work. It was quite the rollarcoaster ride after that. After making a few decisions and taking some initiative, things got rather interesting after she joined the local group of werefoxes in Aug 2005.
And then came happiness, followed by tragedy in Feb 2006. Before Marcus left the city to lend help to someone, the pair eloped and were married. A week later, Izzie would get the news that Marcus was truly dead, killed accidentally while on the trip.
It's been a bit of a struggle after that, though things are looking up....
